They have hundreds of books and various forms of reading material online, at your disposal, for free. They also sell a DVD-Rom or CD-Rom with hundreds of these titles on them, very cheap, that you can use at home any time you wish.

Some days, I think I have the most wonderful job in the world. I work with developmentally disabled adults (among other things), and I teach them to read. When people first hear that, they often shake their heads. They wonder why in the world anyone would want to take on a fruitless task like that. They wonder what I hope to accomplish. They wonder who in the world pays for the service and why it should be supported. Here's the story.

I love to read paranormal/supernatural romances.
As some of you may have read in past posts, I generally buy my books used from Ebay.
Lately though, I've noticed that the price of the books I want have been high. It seems like everyone is bidding on them there. It's getting to expensive.

Today, I was shopping in Kroger and got the last copy of "Dance with the Devil" by Sherrilyn Kenyon.
I really had to admire the eye candy on the cover. The model they used is so good looking. He looks so exotic. When you visualize what Zarek looks like, this guy fits him to a T.

I came across a blog tonight that is really interesting. The guy is posting his novel online. He's even making MP3's as well. They are posted along with each section of his book.
So far, I have read some of his book. It seems really well wrote and interesting. He's also got a $50 giveaway fixing to start on his blog. Very well worth visiting if you love to read like I do.

Have any or many of you visited that great little alternative blogging site called Blogevolve?
While it is obviously not on the scale of Blogger Party, it does seem to attract a readership beyond its membership.

An item on a breakfast TV programme recently took my attention. There was a discussion about why the sales of real books haven't nose dived in favour of e-books and the internet. Book sales in the UK have, in fact, increased, in the face of dire predictions that consumers would no longer want to buy real books.

I know a lot of moms read my posts, and this is directed especially to them. Anyone else is certainly free to read, but you may roll your eyes at the whole thing. :)
The cutest book I've ever come across for children is "Bad Kitty " by Nick Bruel. It's an alphabet book, but not in the standard sense. See, there's a kitty who gets pissed off because the owners run out of cat food, and all they have left is healthy stuff. Kitty starts wreaking havoc, in a way that cat owners will understand, until the owners buy him new food. lol It's so amazingly cute, and even my 8 year old who is VERY familiar with his alphabet thinks that it's hilarious. Brenna will understand what I mean when I say that I see the same absurd humor as in The Upside Down Show.

Reading through an article about how affiliate marketing and content on blogs make a difference, it got me to thinking about why blogs add marketing into every post that they offer their readers. I also noticed that on most of these blogs, they usually did not have very many readers. Why was this? I can give you my theory on it and hopefully you will learn something from it.

books | children | education | motivation | reading | SUCCESS
As with most activities in life, reading is a great educational support, and will open your child to a new world, and different concepts and ways of thinking; thus, motivating your child will help them develop the skills and talents all parents dream of. Reading may not be the easiest activity to motivate as in order for your efforts to be successful, your little one will have to read constantly, and advance to appropriate age levels with different and various topics which will open their mind. Because of the technology we have nowadays such as computer and video games which are so readily available, it is often hard to get them away from the computer, television or video game in order to spend some quiet time reading and cuddling up to their favorite book. By instilling a love of reading to them at a young age, you will find that they will read more often when they grow up, and open their world to a lifetime of adventure; thus, they can explore the world in the comfort of a book.

A barber, who was passing under a haunted tree, heard a voice say, "Will you accept seven jars full of gold?" The barber looked around, but could see no one. The offer of seven jars of gold, however, roused his cupidity and he cried aloud, "Yes, I shall accept the seven jars." At once came the reply. "Go home, I have carried the jars to your house."
