democrats | Iraq | withdrawl
The Democrats are against the War in Iraq? Since when?
We all remember the Lieberman attack, which was fair... but this party aspires to an identity it can never claim. You cannot take back those votes. You had a chance and plenty of time to debate and you leafrogged that and anything resembling political sanity because you simply trusted a Republican President so much that you had to give him the ability to overcome checks and balances on this one?

Judicial branch? What judicial branch?
This vernacular frustrates in the extreme. "The procedures must be fair," Gonzalez said to the Senators, "but also must reflect that we are still at war and that our men and women on the front lines operate in a war zone, not in the controlled environment of an F.B.I. forensics lab."

In a rare display of empathy, President Bush announced why he gave up golf.
“I don't want some mom whose son may have recently died to see the commander in chief playing golf,” he said. “I feel I owe it to the families to be in solidarity as best as I can with them. And I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal.”

CIA | Iran | Iraq | president bush | torture
A CIA agent has now confirmed that the United States used torture to extract information from al-Qaida detainees. At the same time he was careful to remind the congressional oversight committee that the United States does not torture. The United States uses an “enhanced interrogation technique”. By this reasoning people that holdup stores do not rob stores, they are in effect using an “unauthorized acquisition technique”. And people that murder someone do not really murder anyone, they are in effect assisting in an “early demise technique”. Our prisons are not full of prisoners, they are full of‘detainees”.

Recently while stumbling around the internet I came across the personal page of a self proclaimed jihadist going by the name Juba. Juba, also known as "The Baghdad Sniper" was the name given to an insurgent sniper operating in Baghdad. On his personal page there are pictures of the 9-11 attacks as well as a memorial video of the sniper in action.

WHAT IN THE WORLD DOES IRAQ WANT?????
They want the US to stay and protect them for the next 15 years.
They want our money.
They want to blow each other up.
They want to shoot at our soldiers and blow up our convoys.

Just when you think the people in charge in this country can't get dumber, they do.
Our leadership, the grand poohpah, the great decider decided to pour more soldiers into Iraq and nothing has changed. According to the latest reports, the United States offered Israel an unprecedented $30 billion of military aid over 10 years. It is also proposing weapons packages to Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states to help them counter growing Iranian assertiveness.

We are being told that the USA needs to stay in Iraq to maintain peace and order. If that is true then WHY is the body count up? If adding more US forces is supposed to terrorize the terrorists, then why is Iraq losing twice the number of people to terror?

It appears that Vice President Dick Cheney not only knew that Iraq would turn into another Vietnam, but knew it 15 years ago when the 1st President Bush was considering invading Iraq.
WHY would he okay the invasion when he understood the outcome of the Vietnam conflict? WHY would America go to war knowing there was no way out?

The Geminian Rants:
64 Billion dollars spent on the war on terror and Iraq, 64 Billion more requested!! We need an effective means to deal with Muslim terrorists.
Since the war on terror costs so much money, I suggest we cease all pursuits outside the Continental U.S. and instead build a tower, funded by the U.S. Government, contracted to the good Judeo-Christian contractors of America, on some remote New England Island every year for the purpose of allowing the terrorists to Jihad thier Syr/Iranin Airlines into.

US cannot account for 190,000 weapons 'missing in Iraq'
The US military cannot account for 190,000 AK-47 assault rifles and pistols given to the Iraqi security forces, an official US report says. The Government Accountability Office (GAO) says the Pentagon cannot track about 30% of the weapons distributed in Iraq over the past three years. The Pentagon did not dispute the figures, but said it was reviewing arms deliveries procedures. About $19.2bn has been spent by the US since 2003 on Iraqi security forces. GAO, said at least $2.8bn of this money was used to buy and deliver weapons and other equipment and correspondents say it is now feared many of the weapons are being used against US forces on the ground in Iraq. It just gets worse and worse doesn’t it, their invasion through arrogance creates more terrorists and now the Americans through their incompetence are arming the terrorists.

The Bush administration warned the Saudis, until recently one of its closest allies, to stop undermining the Iraq prime minister, Nouri al-Maliki.
