Sometimes I'm amazed of how evil some human beings can be.

Really, now. I just read in several newspapers about this old guy in Austria, who had kept his daughter hidden in a bunker for 24 years! Only to rape her whenever he wanted! The poor girl had gotten 7 kids with her own father down in that bunker. The three kids that lived with her down there for all those years, are not used to the sun, or being outside.

My daughter had quite an awful experience this past couple of days...I will start out by explaining how things led up to a shocking truth, and that is that despite attempts to look PC the South is still as backwards as it was in 1958!

The old saying is "Mans inhumanity to man"...well I beg to differ. I see it as "Mans inhumanity to all."

I say this because only mankind can be as destructive as it is...we are the only species on the planet that kills for the sheer joy of killing. Most other "animals" kill to survive.

Well, ok, there is no way that it could ever happen - not even in our world of germ-warfare, diseases and super-flu’s - the dead could never rise up to attack and eat the flesh of the living. But, what I love about zombie movies and any movie that deals with the end of the world is the question at hand. Those scenarios, regardless of how far fetched they are, show the true test of ones character.

Our natural tendencies.

I was reading an article about human nature and whether we are born bad, or good. The post was just that question, but the responses were numerous and somewhat bizarre. Some of them were okay, but it had developed into craziness and very little actual discussion.

Many people believe we are born neutral and learn bad or good. My view? That’s semi-true only to a certain extent. As new born babies may not show a tendency either way, but small babies haven’t developed an awareness of their environment yet, so tendencies for decision making won’t show up.

Is it just me, or does it seem that the world's people never learn lessons?? I mean come on already!! It is just the same things done over and over again. People of different countries all have transgressions. Every single person on earth was created by the same God, regardless of popular beleifs.. Their is only one God, one Son who died for ALL peoples sins, and one Holy Spirit. I am not discounting any type of religion at all, I would never do that. We are all here for only one reason, and that is to give our Heavenly Father praise and glory and worship..

World
Prophecies are told in dreams. The Spirit communicates to the mind in a state of semi-consciousness.
An old friend was in haste with people he didn't know, fulfilling a mission, a destination. They were of different races, with smile in their faces, and contentment, with no glimpse of bad feelings and remorse in their appearances.
The run went on, a marathon. Something was pulling them to that point. They were walking on soft soil; their feet were naked. The point beyond was very bright, there was a glaring light of different colors, but the white light was prevalent. Speed increased, a force was pulling them toward it.

I am a member of an online writing group/discussion board, and recently the subject of evil came up among a Christian audience.

There was an amazing split and vehement discussions on whether or not, as Christians, we should think about or discuss evil or bad things in the world. The impetus for this discussion was a story about a young boy who had gone "bad", maybe even been possessed by a demon, and how the church and community shunned him and turned away from him rather than trying to help him. The end result was that an innocent girl was killed by this boy, and his response was what did you expect, leaving me alone with this thing inside me?

In this day and age what make some children kill? Who knows there can be tons of reasons. Recently i've been flickering through the channels and saw this case about a teen killed his family. I never saw on tv why he did it.
