As this year booms up again for the Surgoinsville,Tn Riverfront Park Festival,we have lots of things to do down here in the little town called Surgoinsville.Surgoinsville has had this event going on now for approximately for about four years now.I've went to the festival every year,and at least try to have a go at it.Every time that i did go,it was always fun to go just to see the crowd out in the park area where i first met my partner that i have now.
We both grew up near Surgoinsville,and i have attended the Surgoinsville Middle School back in the early 80's.Now,35,i still pass by the old school that i went to when i was a child.Memories come to mind when i pass by there,thinking about all of my old school friends that was there with me when i was there.The Surgoinsville Riverfront park though,never did know that it was there when i was going to school since the bus just went right by the middle school and than got on the 11w highway to go towards Volunteer High School.I lived in Church Hill all of my life.
But the festival has the free food,free drinks,and a small band going on down there.Again this year it will be big as ever with the little fireworks show at the end of it.
