According to a fansite, the future ex-Mrs. McCartney and her estranged
husband have both hired high-priced lawyers. Paul is wanting to protect
his vast fortune, and, according to some conflicting sources, gain
full custody of baby Beatrice Millie. Heather, on the other hand,
wants several million of the ex-Beatle's funds.
While no one I've read seems to agree on the exact amount Miss
"I'm-not-a-gold-digger" wants, the report I found most interesting
has Miss Mills claiming that the amount, whatever it may be, will
be used to help her get old landmines removed, a cause she has been
passionate about since a motorcycle accident cost her one of her legs.
If the reports are true and Heather has her way, Paul will be
supporting this cause whether he wants to or not. A stark contrast
to his days with Linda, with whom he shared a passion for protecting
the rights of animals.
