Tomorrow night is summer soltice. The longest day of the year or the shortest night depending upon your perspective I suppose. I have been to several summer soltice celebrations in past year. Any excuse for a party works for me. At one party someone suggested that part of the tradition was to dance naked in the moonlight. No one stayed behind though to actually give it a try. My significant other at the time and I did give it a try one night and my only recollection of the event was that it was rather chilly. :)

My most endearing memory of that year was the excellant watermelon someone brought along that year. I have always been rather taken with food.
