Are you gone off your head? Suicide cannot make a solution of any problem. Only with the life gone by, the problem shadowwalks with the ghost of yours and it starts haunting and humiliating everyone. Yes, suicide is a deliberate self harm (DSH). You deliberately ruin yourself and keep on ruining others. The problem remains, it dies hard, so to say.

It is our common sense that if any problem is not solved, it is not solved. It always remains to be solved, it awaits solution as early as possible and as completely as possible. Life is always fraught with problem just as a danger is. You can never be free from it. It is such a perennial matter that if you manage to solve a problem, another problem comes in queue to get an early redemption.

There is no good riddance from any problem or danger in life. You have to live with it and you have to learn how to cohabit with it. But it is not good to think that if you do not remain, the problem will not remain. It remains even after you and even before you. So, it is not wise to get your life to get yourself away from the problem so as to be relieved. Can you be relieved? In no way.

On the other hand, euthanasia or mercy killing is not a bad idea as such. If somebody is a marginal patient and lives marginally what is unbearably painful, why not let him die peacefully on his own will. Otherwise, for how long will he suffer that pain lonely? Nobody can share nobody's physical pain. At most, mental pain can be shared in some way or the other but not the physical pain and in no circumstances.
Rather, if we let him die peacefully or we can bring his death forward, of course, by clinical means, we can share his unbearable physical pain in an alternative way by way of mourning his death and suffering mental pain for his sake. And, by the way, is anybody indispensable in this world. We are subject to death and some day or other we will have to fall to its fee. What is the delay of this inevitability?

Taking one's life in frustration and desperation is not same with taking other's life out of sympathy. While euthanasia has been declared legal, committing suicide is culpable offence and socially inadmissible.
