Steve Camp Parties Like Its 1599

Steve Camp in his latest anti-Catholic screed. Outraged that Evangelicals would even having anything to do with the "Romanists", Camp declares:

As you can see from the above (and not all the events of 2005 were listed) Romanists are in demand by evangelicals. Didn’t the Reformation actually take place?...Should Romanists be given a seat at the biblical table of Christianity to discuss from a distinct Christian worldview issues about culture, art or faith with other evangelical leaders? The orthodox answer is no; the pragmatic one by leading evangelicals today is an undeniable yes.

Indeed the Reformation did. As a result, we're free not to have to believe everything the Pope and the Catholic Church says. Of course, its not the good old days.

Yeah, it used to be that not only wouldn't we let the Catholics have a seat at the table. In many cases, if we were at the table the Catholics would set the table afire or vice versa.

Camp brings up a point. We're not acting like we're in the Reformation here in America. I mean instead of working together to fight abortion and cultural decline, Protestants and Catholics (excuse me Romanists) should be trying to get each other imprisoned and burned at the stake. After all, its what Jesus would have wanted, right?
