The movie Step Up is supposed to be like every other dance movie that has ever been released with a love story, a melding of two completely different worlds, dance styles and culminate with a big performance in the end. *yawn* But since I'm a dancer, I feel like it is my right to support dance movies for coming out because it attracts the majority of people. Its like that show "So you think you can dance?". Its pure entertainment, half adoration that they can do all those amazing moves. My favorite dance movies are "The Company", "Fame", and "Save the last dance". Those movies have a marriage of good acting, decent plot, and beautiful dance scenes in my opinion to merit that recognition. Nevertheless, I am going to await the arrival of that movie.
