St. Alps Teahouse

We had dinner there a couple nights ago and it was pretty crowded. The best way to eat at this yummy little teahouse that serves snack-size dishes and bubble tea is to share food. Get a bunch of dishes and then one main rice or noodle dish for yourself and share it with your companion. Me and my boyfriend like to order our tea without the bubble; I'm not a big fan of the black tapioca balls because its overrated and sometimes they put too much in the drink that instead of feeling like I'm drinking a refreshment, I feel like I'm chewing and eating. I definitely recommend the crispy chicken with spices, tea eggs, and the rice with minced pork. Those are my favorite at this cheap East Village eatery/cafe. A lot of people like to go to this place to socialize with friends so be prepared to wait for a table for a few minutes.
