If you watch basketball then you know that the Lakers got their asses handed to them last night in Phoenix. That defeat was disappointing on so many levels. I am not even going to mention it anymore. I am officially in mourning right now. Instead I’ll leave you with a tidbit about a guy named Pat Vendetta. He is an ambidextrous pitcher at Creighton University. That’s right, he can pitch with both hands. He actually has a “hybrid� glove that he can wear on either hand. Apparently his father made him pitch with both hands beginning at the age of 3. He seems like a nice kid so I guess that situation works out okay for some. In other news Marcus Vick was invited to Miami Dolphin rookie camp. He has to beat out the likes of Brock Berlin and Cleo Lemon in order to make the squad. Wow, Cleo Lemon? I have never even heard of that guy. This camp is also available for veteran player who have do not have much of a chance of making any rosters like Kyle Turley. Kyle is an ex first round draft pick that has not played in the league the past two years due to an ailing back. He used to be a 300 plus pound offensive tackle, but he has since lost 60 pounds and is trying to come back as a tight end. By the way, was I the only one that didn’t know that Sir Mix A Lot won a grammy for Baby Got Back?

Barbaro smashed the competition yesterda in the Kentucky Derby. I don't know where my pick Sinister Minister finished, but he was in the mix for a while. I am not sure that they even keep track after the first 3 or 4. My sleeper pick, Bluegrass Cat(27-1) finished 2nd. The name said it all. That horse must have been bred to run in the Kentucky Derby. Here’s the deal:

NBA Playoffs:
dallas(+4.5) over SAN ANTONIO-I know this game is almost over but I took Dallas and the over (180.5). I am in good shape for both, but I would not say they are a guarantee at this point
