Speaking of the 'Mosquito' ringtone...

Well I just noticed a post about that weird 'mosquito' ringtone, a popular new sound for mobile phones that alert today's youth to their phone ringing by way of a particular 'buzzing' sound that apparently only they can hear. Adults apparently cannot hear the noise.

Well I can.

I'm 25 and I can hear it. If I was one of these 'youths' (cos I'm oh so old now!!) it would irritate the crap out of me!

I can also hear bat sounds as they fly past my window at night. I keep asking my husband if he can hear it to but he thinks I'm crazy!

Can someone help me out on this?

Am I normal or do I have super-hearing? (which would be quite cool actually)

Can anyone else hear bats?

Are there any adults here who can hear that stoopid 'mosquito' ringtone?

lol , I'm 30 , and I have to turn the volume on my computer ridiculously loud to hear the darn mosquito ringtone, and then it hurts my ears...

Now is there anyway I can stop hearing the dreaded teen yammering? See, they can build a sound to stop us from hearing the ring...I want them to build one that stops me from hearing "Guuuurl, no he Dih Dent" ya know:)
