SOMEONE'S Lying About WMD, And It's NOT Who You Think

Wow, there was a great article on the opinion page of the Battle Creek Enquirer. It is written by Captain Bryan Kirby, Operations and Training officer for the 51st WMD Civil Support Team at Fort Custer. Captain Kirby is a CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) specialist. He is fairly steamed that there are people dishing out lies and noninformation concerning weapons of mass destruction and the ignorance of the American people concerning the threat that these weapons pose for us.
Here is a partial list of the WMD that HAVE been found in IRAQ:
June 23, 2004: U.S. forces seized 1.77 metric tons of enriched uranium at a nuclear facility in Iraq, the kind used to make nuclear weapons. The U.S. Dept. of Energy removed over a thousand "powdered" radioactive sources which can be used to make dirty bombs.
Polish troops in Iraq bought 17 chemical weapon warheads for $5,000 each from Iraqis to keep them from the insurgents. These were confirmed to contain cyclosarin which is 5 to 10 times more deadly than the sarin used on the Tokyo subway attack. By the way, these were all reported to have been destroyed by the U.N. enforcers between 1991 and 1998....NOT.
August 8, 2005, U.S. soldiers raided a warehouse in Mosul, Iraq, and found 1,500 gallons of chemical agents.
May 17, 2004, our soldiers were attacted by weapons containing the nerve agent sarin. The same month, a similar weapon was found containing the blister agent mustard gas.
This captain says that there is no question about "if" there were WMD found. The only question is, "How much is enough?"
The WMD are real. The sacrifice of our young people fighting the war over there is certainly real. Shouldn't our support for their efforts amd our success be real?
