Yesterday in the evening we had a big storm complete with hail, wind, lightning and thunder. My poor little dog got the living daylights scared out of her and spent the night hiding behind the toilet. Not just a couple of hours, I am talking the entire night. I didn't know where she was until I sat down for my morning "thing" and she touched me with her cold little nose. I just about jumped out of my skin!. Later this morning I left to take my daughter to preschool and the dog was sitting peacefully on the chair at the computer. When I returned home about two hours later, I could not find my dog! We called her and searched all over the house. She was nowhere to be found. I was starting to panic because I knew she had to be in the house, but where. She didn't bark. She didn't come when we called. I searched everywhere again, but to no avail. Finally, I went to the laundry room and decided to just check behind the washer and dryer. Sure enough, that little rascal was wedged behind the dryer. She couldn't go forward to get out and couldn't go backward either. I really had to coax her to get her out. She was shaking and panting and a nervous wreck. What a silly dog! She certainly gets herself in some predicaments. Silly dog!
