Ecstatic after winning the UK reality show Celebrity Big Brother Shilpa Shetty has now been offered a lead role in the West End musical Chicago. Shilpa is yet to take a decision on the matter, her spokesman said on Friday.

"Shilpa Shetty was invited to see the musical on Tuesday and she has enjoyed it and its producers have offered her one of the main roles in the musical but she is yet to decide," the spokesman Farhat Hussain said.

Producers of the show have been holding talks with Shilpa's representatives over a deal for her to play the murderous Roxie Hart, played in recent years by Ashlee Simpson, Denise van Outen and Claire Sweeney.

They are desperate to engage her despite the fact that singing is not her forte.

“I am beginning to feel that Britain is a second home to me because of the amount of love I have got here. It is certainly different coming here now because everyone knows who I am,” Shilpa said in an interview.
