My sister works as a physical therapist assistant. That means she does all the work while a physical therapist signs off on it. Or something like that.

She just started a few months ago, and she told me about her first day. She's currently working on assignment at a nursing home. She wore nice clothing to look professional. Well, they didn't stay nice looking for long. Residents needed changed and other stuff, and even though it's not her job description, she wasn't going to just leave them there like that. So she helped them. Not to get graphic, but she was really nasty by the time she got home.

Ever since then, she's been wearing scrubs. She doesn't really like it, but she's not going to ruin any more clothes. She doesn't know whether she will dress professionally on the next assignment, or whether she will wear scrubs. We're betting it's the scrubs.

Maybe I'll get her some nursing scrubs for Christmas. I'm sure I can find some stylish ones.
