Saving Money No 2
MM was cleaning out the filter on an irrigation system, and as he undid it he didn't wait long enough for the pressure to release and he was almost thrown down by the force of the water. As he did two very small parts flew out with the rush of water onto the grass.
He crawled around for a while and found the largest piece, but the other was a quite small black blob of rubber - and three of us scanned the grass in the hope of finding it. MM decided that he'd have to go to the irrigation store, some distance away - a round trip of an hour or so, all to locate one small piece of rubber.
I thought I might have success if I raked the grass - just perhaps I can lodge the hiding piece and save a lot of time and money.
Sure enough, much to the surprise of MM - it flicked up, from the grass, and once again I saved the day!

I am registered here and at WritingUp - and I suspect most of my money is via WritingUp because they have a much wider audience, but Blogger Party is new - and I suspect will snowball just like WritingUp did. It has only been around for a few months longer than Blogger Party. I can see the potential.
