Qaidi No. 210 is not the title of Salman Khan`s latest film,but the prisoner number given to him by Jodhpur Central Jail, where he is being held far far away from the glitz and glamour of Bollywood.

He is being lodged in Barrack No.15 with Mahesh Sharma who is serving life term for murder.

Since he was hauled away from court,staring at a five year term for killing the endangered chinkra,Salman has shared the 40feet by 30 feet cell,with only a fan for comfort.

"We are unaffected by celebrity," jail superintendent M L Chouhan declared firmly on Tuesday adding that Salman was treated like an ordinary prisoner.

This morning, the actor asked for newspapers which were provided to him, the official said.

Salman has discovered that inmates dont get bed and pillows.

As a prisoner he recieved three blankets,one he laid out on the floor,the other he used as a pillow.The third was,perhaps,meant to keep the army of mosquitoes at bay.

The Bollywood star complained to the authorities on tuesday about the blood suckers.

There is however,an attached toilet in the barracks for Salman,who is also allowed to wear his own clothes.

Special Jail Menu:
After his first night in jail Salman was offered a breakfast of sugarless tea and 'channa' the fare dished out to other prisoners some of them Kashmiri Terrorists,for lunch he ate roti and dal,for dinner roti and 'aloo tamatar' subzi.

The Jodhpur Central Jail has 950 inmates out of which atleast 30 are hardcore militants.
