Watching the news recently has me depressed. Not so much the images of the war in Iraq and the recent collateral damage in Isreal/Lebenon, although that news is depressing as well.

What has me utterly depressed is watching the family of Natalee Halloway denied justice once again. This time, their civil suit in NYC city was thrown out on a statutory basis (the judge ruled that the civil suit must be filed in Alabama or Aruba.)

The full story of what happened in Aruba will never be known, but hopefully, there will be some closure for this family. Maybe it will not happen soon, but hopefully someday it will happen so the young lady will finally be allowed to rest in peace.
