Brace yourself.

According to a news article at cnbc.com, gas prices could hit $4.00 a gallon this summer.

As if it wasn't already bad enough.

I'm really wondering how much money people are already spending on gas. I know it takes about $70 to fill the tank up on my SUV right now. That's a big chunk of change just for gas.

What about the rest of you? How much and how often do you have to fill your gas tanks up?

I fill my tank up about once per week.

Someone needs to come up with some better alternatives for Americans on their gas prices. Gas is starting to rank up their with higher bills. If I'd have known that gas was going to shoot up like this, I would have bought a car.

Is walking or bicycling going to make a comeback? If gas prices keep rising I foresee a lot of people on foot.
