RR: Chase your dream to Japan

Submitted by YankeeOtaku on April 10, 2008 - 5:57am.

You, too, can see Hello Project live!

Berryz Kobo tears it up at Yokohama Arena on Jan. 27 during the large-scale Hello Project Winter 2008 Awards Show.

(No rating:) Sister blog Radreview has a quick summary of tips on how to get to ground zero and actually see the Hello Project troupe perform live in either Yokohama or Saitama, where the company puts on massive joint concerts twice a year. If you're thinking about making this kind of investment (at present, Hello Project seldom ventures from Japan, and they are logistically precluded from engaging in any cross-Pacific tours), then you'll want to check this out as Rad has actually made the pilgrimmage recently. Bottom line: Rad thought he couldn't do it and did. You can, too!

If I saw Berryz live that would be my greatest achievement (greater even than the conquest of Demon Island!) The Capsule Inn is a good tip (Immigration WILL want to know where you're going to stay). And when I was there I couldn't find any cash machines that accepted International Cards so yes bring Yen with you (sidenote some machines e.g. payphones ONLY take 100 yen coins).

The greatest moment in the history of Berryz is April 20 when they tangle with C-ute in what is being billed as the "Battle Concert." You bet if I had the time and cash I would go to that concert in a heartbeat. It's also at Yokohama Arena which makes it double-cool, since Saitama is just too big (Berryz' big bash in April of last year was fabulous there, but the girls just got swallowed in the place). Thanks for your comments; they are always welcome!
