Rose-Colored DNA

How often do you take a cup of coffee at the local cafe only to find the reddish-plum outline of a lower lip pasteled intimately on the mug? Does this lead to revulsion and near-hostile expression of disgust and disdain?
What do lips on a coffee cup, doorknobs, and coins have in common? Huh, huh, huh!?! What?!? Huh, huh?!?
Well, I am so glad you asked. They all share the finger- or lip-print of the ages. The rose-colored DNA and the smudgy-pudgy message of infinitesmal touches from who knows how many whos?
Exciting, invigorating, perspective-fanning, and interconnectivity. Yes?
Though this practice may be anathema to the antiseptic community, I shall begin a quest for merger with the all and everyone. I shall start licking and kissing lip-prints on coffee cups. I shall touch and lick as many coins and door knobs as I possibly can. I shall commence becoming one with my brethren and sistren.
I will become one with the imprint of both my contemporaries and those who have moved on to a less tangible life- or death-style.
I wonder if my lips have touched your lips. Or, if I have held in my pocket a coin that you have held in your pocket. Perhaps the whiskey I buy is with money that you bought your methamphetamine or pants with.
