Romance novels and real love

I love reading romance novels, and I've been reading them for quite a while now. Since my teenage years. I can still remember getting those romance novels from the library. I couldn't wait to get them home, and start on them. Sometime during those times, I fell in love. I feel in love with the men that were portrayed in those novels. Men that were independent, strong, loyal, and most of all handsome.

The years passed, and I have continued to read those novels. To this day, I love them. But there is a difference now. I fully understand that they are just works of art. Those types of relationships aren't real. It would be great to have a man like that, but who gets them?

For a lot of single women, I think romance is dead.
