-TDR’s budget is LESS than the budget for House of 1000 Corpses. TDR was brought in for a mere 7 million dollars.
—Otis’ character was based on guys whom Rob met in the carnivals when he was a kid.
—If you can get [EDITED] past the MPAA Lionsgate Films will release it.
—He knew the Dr. Satan scene wasn’t going to work in the new film due to the sequel’s radically different tone, but filmed it anyway.
—Karen Black called him with a change of heart and asked if she could still do the movie but it was too late. Leslie Easterbrook had already been cast in her role.
—An irate viewer, offended at the level of violence, asked Rob if he was going to shoot a snuff film as his next project as he felt TDR was garbage. Calling it “depraved
