Reform, Prosperity and Peace
Reform, Prosperity and Peace...those are but a few of John McCains "proposals" for the future of this country....the only problem I have with this is...McCain can't either Fix, Improve, or Maintain.
Reform? This is a man that has suddenly seen the light but only when the stock market crashes in burning flames around his 7 or so houses and his 12 cars...he collects cars after all. He was and still is partly to blame for our current economic woes...for a solid 8 years! So now he wants to go in there and "reform" all his buddies? I for one am not buying it.
Prosperity? Ditto to the paragraph above, but let me add a couple of things here...in last nights debate John McCain did not mention the middle class once...not once. His plan for "prosperity" is to give thousands of tax dollar breaks to his pals in the Oil industry. His plans for "prosperity" is to tax our health insurance plans just like we pay our regular taxes.
Prosperity will happen in his plan if you happen to be stinking rich...the rest of us will get no consideration and for that matter we will all be labeled "whiners".
Peace...good lord, he is an old time war monger...just who the hell does he think he is kidding? This is the same man that opposed trigger guards on hand guns!! He kept yammering on about "what Senator Obama doesn't understand"
Well let me tell you what John McCain doesn't seem to UNDERSTAND...The last 8 years have left us without too many friendly "allies"...those that we do have do NOT LIKE THIS PARTY!! So for him to sneer at Obama about our "allies and talking with them" is ludicrous...ALL of Europe is firmly backing Obama!! These are facts. So to say that McCain won the debate is false and flat out stupid. I should send McCain a message asking him "Do you understand that no one except the fascist far right and the uhber conservatives can stand you?"...Nah, I think when the Democrats win this election he will finally "understand it".

You know, Sassys, I don't think McCain has seen the light.
I think he's only pretending that he's seen the light. After all, it was a great press move - or it seemed like it would be at the time - and it gave him a chance to suggest that we give all these big corps MORE tax breaks as part of the bailout package. And that was his ONE AND ONLY contribution to the entire fucking thing.
I was so FREAKIN' disgusted after hearing one of McCain's supporters talk about how we have McCain to thank for a bailout package because his last minute intervention convinced all the Republicans to go ahead and agree to the package. I'm still seething over that worm and the pathetic lies he was trying to sell. Wish I could remember his name. I'd wrap up a nice big package of cat shit, fresh from my cats' litter box, and send it to him.
As for McCain's laughable health care plan - an independent panel has already shown that it will cost Americans more for health insurance under McCain's plan. They showed it in black & white and he still hangs onto it. After all his flip-flopping, that's what he hangs onto? You betcha babe. Because the more he can grind the working American down the more control he can have over them. And that's THE goal of the current Republican leaders. Reduce the majority of Americans to groveling for food and enough gas to get to work and they'll do what they're told and not pay attention while the Rethugs steal the rest of the country from them.
And don't get me started on McCain's war mongering. Let's just say, if McCain is elected President, we should all start learning Russian - really fast - because he's already made an enemy of Putin.
And yeah, the Rethugs saying that McCain won the debate is totally false. Not just because they are the only ones saying it, but because it's the voters, not the parties, that decide who won. And according to even Fox polls the voters have spoken. Obama won. Not by a huge margin, but he won.
Now, it's time for Joe Biden to kick Palin's ass, just like he kicked McCain's ass after the debate last night. Did you hear any of his interviews last night? He was fantastic!!!!

enough to get to watch the actual debate at midnight...although I did try to hear it "live" on the radio at work...but my job got uhber slammed last night due to the fact that we sell the "BEST PIZZA IN DA WORLD" and everybody that was having debate parties ordered our pizza:D!! So I missed Biden but I did watch John McCain get his ass handed to him even on his supposed "strength"...He looked like what he is...an old man that has no clue about current affairs and certainly knows even less about our desperate situation when it comes to the economy right now. He went to Washington and purposely messed up the plan that BOTH parties had agreed to and so therefore delayed it...he was a hindrance and he showed himself to be the control freak he really is...disgusting!
