Rebecca Wins Canada's Next Top Model

Canada's Next Top Model | chin implants | plastic surgery | reality television

I have a secret addiction – reality television. It started one night several years ago, when nothing else was on, and I watched Survivor. Then, someone recommended Americas Next Top Model to me, not for the modelling, but for the interactions between the contestants. I think that was about when the addiction began.

I even watched the search for the next Pussycat Doll. I am totally disgusted with myself. I cannot stand what the Pussycat Dolls represent. The creator of them said it's all about finding your inner beauty and confidence. Something about dressing girls in lingerie and having them dance around stripper poles tells me a different story. Sex sells. And there are lots of young girls who wanted SO badly to be the next one to sell it. Sigh. And I supported it by watching the show. Bigger Sigh.

Survivor, Pirate Master, Beauty and The Geek, America's Got Talent, So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing With The Stars, From The Ground Up, Big Brother, The Bachelor, The Amazing Race, Rockstar Supernova, American Idol, Canadian Idol, Canada's Next Top Model, American Inventor....I'm sure there are more.

I told you I was an addict.

Anyways, I really like Rebecca, the current winner of Canada's Next Top Model. I like that she is so unique looking, not like what so many models look like. And she has a flaw – a weak chin. You can't see it any any of her pictures, because she is really good at positioning herself to accommodate it, but you can see it on the show. She might look into having some surgery done, like Chicago chin implants, but then again, she may not. It certainly hasn't held her back so far.

She did lose some weight after the show, which is interesting. She was model-slim to begin with, and now looks the typical unhealthy model-slim. I actually am not so sure I like it. She was pretty awesome as she was, now she's a rake.
