I hate going to the bank. In my town, there’s a bank on every corner, but the lines are always about 20 people deep regardless of what time I go. The worst part is that I have accounts at a few different banks so a great deal of my time is wasted standing in line. But I don’t mind so much at my Wells Fargo bank. They always have a TV mounted toward the beginning of the line. FOX News is always on and I enjoy reading the dialogue provided by the captioning service. Even though it lags a few seconds behind, I’d rather read the captioning instead of listening to the broadcasters.
It does make me laugh when the captions spell out the noises that the people make, such as “clears throat” or “cheers.” Either way, it makes my time in line seem like only a few minutes when I know it’s been at least a half hour or more.
