former frontrunner Kerry!

(I'm back, people!... BBJ)

Re: Mr. John Kerry:
Well, here we are ladies and gentlemen, a few days before mid-term elections, a short two years before the national elections. We Democrats have everything going for us. We're going to undo the damage in Iraq, the damage to our world reputation, bring the economy back into focus: we've got it "made in the shade"! And who is our front runner for president (Hillary notwithstanding), our brave and noble outspoken spokesman? None other than the honorable John Kerry!
More about John later.
Have you gentle readers noticed the very high quality of our troops in Iraq, Afghanistan, and around the world? Reserve forces are generally college grads, professional men, well off, the cream of the crop. Yet they are willing, to defend their nation, to leave homes and families, and face death, and now torture; let their wives stay with the children, to lay awake at night, waiting for word.
Many of the young men dying in Iraq are young, in their twenties. While they should be beginning to establish their lives, instead they are subjected to the ugliness, the coarseness, the intolerable disregard for human life that we encounter in times of war. particularly this irrational pointless war that was started, for reasons beyond comprehension, in the mind of George Bush.
Back to Kerry.
This from Yahoo news:
"John Kerry said something truly foolish on Monday, suggesting to college students that if they didn't get an education, they'd get "stuck in Iraq." Taken at face value, it was demeaning and offensive, implying that the soldiers fighting for their country are stupid and uneducated."
That's the single most foolish, most inane, most asinine remark I've ever heard! Pardon me. If someone had promised Kerry a million dollars to end his hopes for the Presidency and to sell out seats, and possibly the potential for Democratic majority in the Congress and Senate, he couldn't have done better.
This bleedin' Yuppie from the Viet Nam era is going to warn the boys to high-tail it for Canada. As some of you might remember, there was a time when a well connected young man could stay in school, and avoid the draft, and the conflict in Viet Nam.
But, that was thirty-five Years ago!
Thank you so much John Kerry.
Good Morning Hillary.
And by the way Mrs. Clinton,
Don't cater to the Bible- belt religious people. Your husband wouldn't have done that and neither should you. We like to envision you, in the White House, and just behind, in the shadows, smiling, your wonderful husband, Bill; William Clinton, whom many favor as the greatest President we've ever had, possibly behind Abe Lincoln.
Readers, have a great day!
