Radar Detectors

I want to talk about a subject that has not come up before and is over due here on Car Chat – Radar Detectors.

I have to admit I am out of the loop on Radar Detectors because I haven't had one in many years. My old model was prone to frequent false alarms, but never failed to work in the actual presence of radar so it did its job.

Do you have any experiences to share of times that Radar Detectors saved you from a speeding ticket?
