Purple Hair As A Punishment

My cousin has a little girl who is almost her spitting image. In fact, they would be identical if the child had red hair like her mother. Well, my cousin apparently tried to fix that problem. Too bad for her daughter.
I believe the little girl actually requested red hair, but I can’t be sure. Regardless, that is not what she got. She maintains her naturally brown hair, with lots of purple on top that doesn’t quite cover her natural hair color. And the highlights are a weird combination of pink, purple, and maroon, all at the same time. I really can’t describe them except to say the whole thing looks unnatural.
Lucky for this child, it’s summer vacation, and her hair should be back to normal before school starts. And who knows, maybe the child chose this color on purpose. If not, she must love her mother very much because she sure is acting like a good sport about it.
