Proof we are immortal: Two

Culture and Heritage | Happiness | immortality | relationships | Social anthropology | spiritual truths

Looking at the fact children are different from birth makes it easy to see that this means we did not come into being at birth.

There are those who state that we are different because God created us different, yet this is absurd, we have seen in my other posts that Christianity, Islam and Judaism is based on nothing but tall tales and distortions.

Since that which we are does not come into being at birth it also means physical death could not possibly be the end of what we really are.

This all is verified through science: If a person was to think that he is his body, which body is he/she? The Atoms which make up the body are only a part of the body for very few years, all atoms, cells and other building blocks which make up our bodies such as Microcondria is only with us for a very short time.

We change out all aspects of our bodies on a continual basis, we do not change, we are the same inherent personality through all these changes so we have to be that which does not change.

When it comes to not knowing what happens to us after the body dies or what we were before we received these bodies we can to a large extent give thanks to the Church for our lack of knowledge. There have been studies instigated by serious doctors who have witnessed patients after a death experience as well as near death experiences. These people, willing to talk about what happened have been silenced and this comes from the religious organizations.

As illustrated in my posts on Paul the religious is full of lies, they know the answers they provide are false, the view they present is not what the record shows, yet they go to any length to discredit serious studies.

That we are immortal can be seen in that we are not restricted by the physical universe as I mentioned several times in other posts. We travel in time independently of physical laws regarding time and space. This means we are not of the physical universe hence we do not have a physical universe beginning. That which does not have a physical beginning can’t possibly have a physical end!

Ok, so now what?

I've read your posts and you've convinced me. Now what? What do I do now that I have nothing to believe in any more? Now that I've lived my life by a set of rules that don't count, what is my reason to be ethical?

The real reason for ethics!

blogsons; the real reason for ethics goes way beyond that which current religions state; ethics is not all about seeking approval from some deity. About 5000 years ago the Egyptians stated: "If there is an afterlife will you spend it avoiding those you have wronged in this short life?"

This is about as correct as can be, while I know current religious doctrines are not correct, that which we are is spiritual. In order to communicate with others without a body we form a concept which is duplicated by those we communicate with. If there is something we don't want others to know we can't communicate, if we live unethical lives we can get stuck spending eternity in total loneliness. No greater punishment for unethical behavior could be devised!

Behind every excuse lies a failure, to justify a failure only compounds its magnitude.
