To Be continued.

Another day of dark skies over the city of Portland Oregon mixed in with what the local weather man calls scattered showers, that means rain, usually all day if you have never lived in Oregon.

The black Mercedes SL-550 turned off Broadway street amongst morning commuters and entered into a parking garage in the heart of down town Portland. What used to be the center of all business in the Northwest region of Oregon, has slowed it’s commerce growth over the last ten years do to expanding suburbs with user friendly roads and easier access to I-5 which is closer to the booming row house subdivisions.

The Mercedes pulled up to the entry gate and waited for the machine to spit out a ticket. The drivers window lowered with the soft sound of the electric motor humming. As the window lowered a voice could be heard from inside the car “ Marty, buy I.D. systems, no, buy it at market. Start buying it in small blocks so it doesn’t get attention. believe me, at market. The drivers left arm quickly extended out the window and grabbed the parking ticket and accelerated the car forward as the gate lifted.

Pulling into a reserved parking space next to the elevator on the lower level. The purr of the Mercedes became silent as the driver parked the car. Grabbing his lose files and some papers from the passenger seat, Matt Killen shoved them into a tan leather brief case as he quickly opened up his door and walked quickly towards the elevator. The air was cold and damp. Matt was thinking to himself…’I wonder what the people in Maui are doing today?’ as he jumped into the elevator door that was closing.

As the elevator doors opened on the 14th floor, the dark gloomy day brighten up as Matt entered into the brokerage firm of Killen and Associates . The warm colors from the carpet and the paintings of exotic places With catch phrases like ‘want to retire here?’ made a person relax and stimulate their thoughts of their life in the future, that is ‘financial future’ is what Matt was marketing as you entered his office.

“Hey Julie Matt said as he greeted the receptionist located at the front desk. “Good morning Mr. Killen, she replied. Matt walked down the carpeted hallway saying good morning through the open doors as he pasted by them.

Entering his office located on the corner of the building gave way to a vast view of the Willamette river and part of the down town streets of Portland. The windows were covered with rain drops as Matt looked through them as he picked up the phone and turned on his computers.

Matt hit speed dial and instantly connected with Steve Raymond, an associate who he brain storms market research with. Steve!? the sound in Matt’s voice was that of not being sure he had the right number. “Hey, good morning. It looks like the order went through on I.D. Systems, right, okay, sure will, talk to you soon.

Matt hung up the phone and adjusted his computer monitors as he looped the ear piece around his ear and set his phone for hand free. As he hit a few keys on his computer a running streamer with numbers and graphs came up on the screen reporting live information on stocks he monitored.

Matt clicked and grabbed charts, and graphs and placed them on other individual monitors located on his desk so he could have a full view of them as he monitored their progress as the stock market opened for the day.

Matt looked up at the pendulum clock housed in a teak wood frame on the wall. 9:35A.M., Matt thought for a moment and said to himself ‘ time for coffee’ as he hit a couple more keys on his keyboard and left his office and headed toward the elevator.

Before he reached the elevator, Marty yelled at him as he walked passed his open office door “Matt!, got a sec? “two sec’s “ Matt replied as he leaned on the door way into Marty’s office. “Matt, I got a call from a guy called Sigger, Bill Sigger, last night on my cell? “yea? matt replied. “He started asking me some investing question and related topics about what our firm invests in, “okay Matt nodded a reply, “He then went on to ask if we had any clients from overseas, primarily from the middle east? Marty stated as he rose his shoulders and cocked his head raising his eye brows while looking in the eyes of Matt. “What did you say? Matt asked. “I told him that our client’s list is confidential. And why was he interested? Mr. Sigger stated that he just ‘wanted to know how diversified our company was.’ “I suggested that he should come in and we would be more then happy to review his investment goals with him“. Marty replied to Matt. “Okay Marty, I’ll look for him to come in.Also, did you get the buys in for I.D. Systems? “I got all the shares you wanted, Marty said with confidence. “Thanks Marty, sorry it was on such short notice.

Matt started to turn and head toward the elevator, “Matt! Marty yelled at Matt, Matt looked back towards Marty’s office door as Marty popped his head out into the hallway. “One thing weird about that call Matt nodded to Marty. “Mr. Sigger called me on my private cell phone, only you and a couple of close associates have that number? Marty finished , again with raising his eye brows with a look of concern toward Matt. Matt nodded his head again to Marty in acknowledgement. “ I’ll be right back Matt replied as he turned and pushed the button on the elevator.

‘Ding and the elevator opened . As Matt road the elevator down to the lobby to get a cup of espresso, he stared at the door, thinking of what Marty had just told him. ‘Ding!’ and the door of the elevator opened into the lobby of the office building.

Matt headed over to the corner of the lobby past a small water fall where a little espresso stand was located. “Morning Tina Matt said with a little smile. “How are you doing today Matt, “she asked, as she moved around behind the espresso machine grinding beans, clicking and banging equipment as she prepared his drink. “I’m find, I will be better with your special concoction in me. Okay Mr. Matt, see if that gets you going today! Tina said with a big smile as she handed Matt his drink. “Thank you Tina, Matt replied, with a matching smile as he tossed a ten dollar bill on the little counter and turned and walked back toward the elevator.

As Matt walked across the lobby he happen to catch the eyes of a man sitting in the lobby reading a news paper. Matt looked away after he made eye contact with the man and continued toward the elevator.

Riding up the elevator, Matt gave some thought to the man sitting in the lobby who looked over his opened news paper at him? Hum? Matt thought…Probably nothing, “Just a weird feeling. he said to himself.

‘Ding’ as the elevator door opened back into Matt’s office. Matt walked back to his office with a quickened pace, sat behind his desk and looked up at the clock again, 10:00 A.M.. He looked at the monitors again and pulled up another screen which showed streaming live news. On the other screen was a running chart of ‘I.D. systems’ which was a stock he had just invested in this morning.

“ I hope your right this time Steve?. he whispered quietly to himself. Matt looked at the clock again and then his watch and back to the computer monitors.

“Bing! There it is Matt said. The streaming news just released a P.R. from I.D. Systems, (stock symbol, IDSY.) The initial news read;

IDSY receives government contracts. Matt, set his coffee down and stared using both hands to type into the computer, focusing on the information viewed on the monitors.

Reading the complete News story related to ‘IDSY’ it stated that ‘IDSY’ received government contracts worth $10 billion dollars over the next thirteen years. Matt looked back at the other monitor which showed a chart of ‘IDSY’ The line on the chart started to tick up as the news began to circulate the investment community around the world.

Matt picked up his coffee and leaned back in his high back leather chair staring intensely at the monitors with a quick flash of Tina the espresso maker and him on a warm beach under the sun.

Matt took a drink and leaned forward and typed a few more keys and leaned back and watched the monitor change screens. A new screen appeared that showed a confirmed transaction of ‘Sell’ 17,000 shares of ‘IDSY’ at a limit of $49.00 dollars per share. Matt’s touch of a key confirmed the order and the screen went back as a new one was loaded. When the new screen appeared the title of the page stated ‘Confirmed’ you sold 17,000 shares of IDSY @ $49.00 per share: Total: $833,000.00.

Matt saved the page in his records and worked the key board and transferred funds out of this account to another. “Man, way to go Steve Matt thought , ‘A little over $300,000 gain in less then an hour’.

Matt finished filing the transcripts and got up and walked over to the window and enjoyed the rest of his coffee trying to relax with out screaming out a big BOOORRRAAAA! From the excitement built up inside of him from the last trade.

Az Zarqa’ Jordan

The heat waves raised from the desert floor created a mirage effect as you looked across the small village of tents and small buildings made of broken bricks and plaster located just outside of Az Zarqa’ Jordan.

Abu Musab Al-zarqawi, one of the higher board member of the Al Qaeda network, answers his cell phone“ Ahmad! in broker Arabic/English. “Yes, Mr. Sigger, very good, let me right that down, connection to a Mr. Killen, yes, praise ala.

Musab places his cell phone down on the pillow and spins himself around on the lager pillow he is sitting on to face the center of the room and the two men sitting around the circle with him. In Arabic, Musab tells the other men that our contact in the U.S. has gained another resource to use as cover. Here is his I.P. address, as Musab hands the paper to one of the men sitting next to him.

The two men stand up and salute Musab and state “Praise Ala in a patriotic fashion and leave the room. Musab turns around and picks up the cell phone and removes the battery and places the phone on the floor and picks up the AK-47 laying next to him and smashes the phone with the butt of the rifle.

He turns on his pillow and reaches into a canvas bag and brings out a new cell phone, he places the battery into it and closes the cover and gets up from his pillow, slings his AK over his shoulder and picks up the canvas bag and leaves the small room, walking out into the bright sun light.
