For example, rather than "I am not nervous" write "I am confident and relaxed". If you use words such as "nervous" or "shy", it reminds your subconscious of negative feelings and images associated with these words. This is unhelpful, and can even be counter-productive.
When preparing your subliminal messages, remember that you are directing them at your subconscious. In some ways this part of your mind is like a small child - it responds best to simple, direct statements. If the messages generate strong, positive images as well, that's an added bonus.
Here are some examples of good affirmations (another word for positive subliminal messages):
-I am confident
-I am good at my job
-I am a great athlete
-People's eyes light up when they see me
Here are some bad examples:
-I am not sad
-I will be more confident
-After Christmas I will give up smoking
-People don't dislike me on first meeting.
I hope you can see the difference!
Once you have prepared your messages, you will need a method of delivering them. As I've mentioned before, there are two main channels you can use, visual or audio.
Administering your messages visually can be difficult without suitable equipment or software. And producing your own audio CDs can be difficult, especially when it comes to getting the sound levels correct and utilizing the various subliminal effects.
Fortunately, things don't have to be quite so difficult... there IS software available to help you deliver subliminal messages both visually and as audio recordings.
