Police Brutality Or Police Stupidity

Sire's picture

Apparently a sheriff’s deputy in Florida has been suspended because he dumped a quadriplegic man out of his wheelchair onto the floor so that he could search him. The other three deputies who were looking on have been placed on administrative leave.

I tried to post the video here but couldn't get it to work. You can watch here

There's no sound, but the image speaks for itself. So which one is, brutality or stupidity?

Absolute power corrupts

It seems our police departments have been given free reign to use and abuse the public to the point that they have become a bunch of vigilantes and obviously should be dealt with as suspect instead of trust.

I have always believed that questioning authority was a prudent thing to do, However, it maybe deadly in today’s environment.

Wow Sire

That is disturbing! Makes me think we are living in a police state rather than America.

I agree with AR here big time Sire

Sassys

In todays political climate it is prudent to be aware of what goes on. It is also very scary, because those we are supposed to trust are being run by those we know we mustn't trust.

When will

some sanity be brought back into the country? Things are getting out of control, it's time things are brought back under control. Brutality breeds brutality.
