Playing the catch up game with retirement after the age of fifty

There are a lot of reasons that you may have not started planning for your retirement before you hit the age of fifty. It is estimated that forty percent of people do not estimate the cost that they willl need once they retire. This means that there are sixty percent of people who are at a loss until that moment hits when they realize that they have made it to a road leading straight to retirement age.
I started specializing in retirement for my freelance work. It is not my only specialty but it is one that has struck an interest. Why? Because so many people are unprepared for it and I want to help those people.
As a freelance writer, I have written numerous articles on retirement, financial goals, divorce, and how to live a better life. I also have written many articles on parenting and death.
This article, Playing the catch up game with retirement after the age of fifty, started out as a goal to help people who are planning for retirement. Once I got started and planning on the article and what I wanted it to become, I started thinking about how many people do not even plan for retirement and how this could hurt them in the long run. I wrote this article in hopes that it would strike a move for people to start planning for retirement and for them to realize that no matter what their age, it is never to late or too early to start putting your best foot forward.
