Pirate Master - a New Kind of Reality Show

I hate reality shows. They get old and boring after the first season normally. I watched some of Survivar when it first came out and Big Brother but that's about it. Most of them now remind me of The Real World on MTV, childish and stupid. But then I saw a commercial for Pirate Masters and knew I'd watch this. What can I say, I married a pirate er privateer.

And so the first episode started tonight and I'm hooked. They really are doing pirate things and living on a ship. They have to run the ship although it doesn't look like they actually sail it. They claimed a captain and he picked his officers. And in true pirate fashion the captain got half the booty and the captains split half of what was left. The rest were stunned and upset but if they REALLY knew anything about pirates, they would have known that beforehand. I did. I'm sure part of the lure for me is, I wear that kind of outfit every year, sometimes several times a year. And I think it would be a blast to be on a ship and REALLY learn what it's like to be a pirate. Course I'm sure it'd not be as great as I think but it'd be a nice learning experience.
