phoning it in

I've been a busy bee this week. I had a project... you see .. I film intersections so that civil engineers can make decisions regarding changes to the traffic signals and other means of traffic control... and so on.

Anyway, I had to film two areas that were on opposite ends of town from each other. . .about 50 miles apart. Yesterday, I was up at 3 am, out the door by 3:30.. I went down south and set up my camera.. then I had to go up north and set up 3 more, and sit in my car while I filmed yet another intersection (long story)..

I was done around 10.. .got home at 11 , and took a nap... luckily, someone called me at about 2:30 .. . otherwise, I would have overslept, and missed my afternoon filming...

So, I got the camera up, and goofed off for a few hours... then when 6 pm rolled around, I picked up my camera and drove home... I went to bed around 10 pm .. . and slept till 11 this morning! I really needed the sleep.

Well, it's been a busy week, but I need the money, so I've gotta do the work....

Sorry for this pointless rant .. .but I'm commited to writing something here every day, even if it's meaningless tripe like this... I would post a fun video if embedding was possible here. . . .. oh, what the heck ! have a linky !
