Paul McCartney was a cowriter with John Lennon of the Beatles song "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" that was a big sensation England and the United States when it was first released.
The musical cultures of the two countries were very similar then due to the importationof many chart-topping English acts. The broadcast and print media even christened this "The British Invasion."
Now Paul McCartney is at it again with his signing to be the featured performer at thousands of Starbucks stores through its Starbucks Entertainment division.
