Paris Hilton has been in the broadcast, print and Internet news lately because of the court appearances she's had to make because of violating the terms of her probation for "Misdemeanor driving under the influence" in Los Angeles County.
This happens hundreds of times a day in Los Angeles County and this is a big money-maker for the court system.
The cost in fines is over $3,500 and most of that money goes so support the court system. There are 800 "Assistant Los Angeles County District Attorneys" that make over $100,000 a year. I am including that just to give you an idea of the size of the court system in the county that surrounds the City of Lost Angeles.
Hollywood is an entertainment district in Lost Angeles with a lot of nightclubs located in a small geographic area.
The police know where the hot clubs are as well as Paris Hilton and the Papparazzi!
The police cruise these areas, knowing that many people will be leaving the clubs around 2 A.M. after drinking and dancing and spending lots of money for cigarettes and cigars. That's the whole idea behind the city establishing entertainment districts; the revenue from the business license "fees$" and sales taxes from the drinks goes to the city.
Paris Hilton had spent the day at a music video taping and had not had a chance to eat anything. When she arrived at the club, everybody was aware that she was there; certain employees get paid by the tabloids to keep an eye out for celebrities and call the photographers with the location and what is happening.
