get paid to blog!

PAID WRITING OPPORTUNITIES YOU MAY NOT HAVE HEARD OF...OR FORGOT ;-)

I haven't had much time for anything but making comments or lurking on Blogger Party lately... but here's some info I thought I'd pass along...

Blogitive
A while back I mentioned this in a couple blogs... but I thought I'd bring it up again. Blogitive basically pays you to blog wherever you're already blogging and get paid for it ($5/blog). All you have to do is insert one of their advertisers links by working it into your blog.

Craigslist
I posted an ad for articles for my blog on this site over the weekend and while I was there I noticed that there are quite a few paid writing gigs listed on that site. I tend to forget about this site... but it's definitely worth checking out. I saw writing contests, e-zines looking for articles, etc.

Writing Sucks
This is a blog by Kerri Wood. Kerri submitted an article for MySpace or Yours (which will be posted today, by the way)... but I was checking out her blog and noticed that she has links to writing sites and a few links for paid gigs as well. Plus, I just loved the layout of her blog... very neat and creative at the same time. Definitely worth checking out!

Lazy Housewife
I wrote about this one a couple days ago... but I'll mention it again. This site will pay for funny articles about cleaning... yup, cleaning. Pay ranges from $4 - $13 per article.

Stay tuned for the next installment -- I have MORE writing opportunities to tell you about that could translate into LOTS of new readers to your blog.

Craigslist

Craigslist is wishy-washy. It's can really go either way. I have found some real gigs from there and I have gotten complete spam and cons.

Just use caution when you apply for something. If it sounds to good to be true....
