Paid Blogging?
I know we can get paid for blogging. I understand that even if we get paid it isn't going to be enough to retire. But I'm puzzled because what does it take TO get paid? Bloggerparty advertisments make it sound so easy, but I don't see myself making squat even if I post a hundred more blogs. I'm not angry just a little agitated. From what I've heard around here nobody's making money. Bloggerparty IS in the building process but I don't even see the slightest hint of advertisers jumping on board. Granted, I am the soul who wrote "I just want to write", but I feel other's like myself have been mislead. I do just want to write, and the money bothers me very little, but I know other's feel decieved. And rightly so. Anyway, in order to avoid contradiction I'll keep writing away and hopefully I'll be on board if Bloggerparty ever does take off. But, if it doesn't oh well. But for those of you that are frustrated I understand. The only thing we can do is keep writing quality stuff and hopefully one day advertiser's will notice us. So write on.

Advertisers?
I realize not everyone makes as much as me and all and obviously people will complain about anything... but what is this crap about advertisers jumping on board? If advertisers jumped on board their ads would be taking the place of YOUR ads. I'm sure this site could get some paid advertisers. Just a guestimate based on my observations, but this page has probably gotten 100k visits in its first less than a month up and that's pretty much the universal cut-off for having advertisers pay to place ads on a page (beyond the whole google adsense thing). In other words, I'm sure this page can have some advertisers jump on board, but they you and I don't get paid and I'd be freaking pissed. Anyway.
You gotta have Google adsense.
Maybe you don't understand how it works.
You sign up with adsense. They put adverts on your blog according to content.
But you are responsible for what tag words you use when you write your blog.
Then IF someone clicks on the ad on your blog you get credit.
My observation is that people don't click on ads all the time.
When this bloggerpartys numbers rise you'll start seeing more clicks.
It's a numbers game.
That's life.
In the mean time, keep on truckin'
Save a horse, ride a cowboy!!!
So it's all in the clicks
Havana Brown mentioned a very big IF, for as she rightly pointed out, we only get paid if someone clicked on the ads. No clicks, no dime. Hence it's not the really the numbers game, but whether anyone clicks on the ads.
Hence it really boils down to content. This point has been brought up many times and I agree. The ideal situation is for you to write something interesting and that advertisers pay loads per click. Then hopefully your reader will be interested enough to click on your high value clicks after reading what you have said.
Unfortunate for me, it seems easier said than done. But I have seen bloggers with hundreds of reads on their blogs. So perhaps to be safe is to have a combination of content and huge readership. Can't go wrong then!
IMPORTANT: Just made my first pennies yesterday!
Seriously, I was/am very skeptical of this entire ordeal. I discovered a few really important things though. As stated, YOU MUST have google adsence. They will ask you to set up an account and you'll even fill out a W2! If you have not done this you can not get paid. I didn't know this until three weeks ago. Once I filled out all the info I continued to wait...and write. Finally yesterday I discovered that I have over 200 page impressions ans I have made 2 cents from clicks. Then today I decided to check again and I mad another 8 cents! It isn't a lot, but it really does work. You have to write about real topics though. If you go to the section on the left of the screen where it says "My Blog" you can review all the blogs you posted and you can also see how many "reads" you got for each. You will realize that people that post on "real" topic about "real" things do good. For example, I have seen many blogs where people just type anything to make 100 words, this doesn't get reads. You should write about your famaily, sports, cooking, work, the News, life...real things!
