Out of the Mouth of a Babe
My son, at nearly three, is very creative with language. He puts his thoughts together into words pretty easily. And, apparently, his thoughts are pretty interesting. Here are a few:
When at his first football game and the crowd was complaining about a bad call he said, "You gotta be KIDDING me!" This came complete with dismissive hand motion toward the field.
To the football mascot that he saw at the game: "You gotta see the water towers, kid!" My son eats, sleeps, and breathes water towers and phone towers right now. It's a weird obsession.
To my Dad, who has fostered the obsession by driving my son around town to see and take photos of water towers as well as showing him towers on the computer: "Hey water tower boy!" This was shouted in a semi-crowded restaurant.
To me after I told my husband and son together, "I love you boys": "I love you too, woman."
No wonder his preschool teacher calls him a character!

Thanks!
Life is never dull here, let me tell ya!
Yesterday he had a pee pee accident (STILL potty training) while I was in the shower. He came in, told me about it, dropped his underpants in the bathroom, took my towel (the one I needed to dry off with) and went and wiped up the accident. Of course, then I had no towel, but I was impressed anyway.
