Our Tour Of The South

When is the last time you stayed in a bed & breakfast? The last time I did so was a few years ago when we were doing a tour of the south of England.

It wasn't a full tour, but it involved three stops – in Southend, Southampton and South London, to see different places and friends. I have to say the breakfast was very good. After 15 years in England, I am a convert to the full English breakfast – cholesterol or no cholesterol.

English B&B's are wonderful Sharon, I've stayed in a

15th century cottage still with its original bread oven in the wall. The breakfast there was absolutely yummy and the lady who owned was a lovely, lively and interesting lady.

Full English breakfast is yummy for holidays but it is a thing that one eats only rarely and is all the better because it is a treat.

Sounds perfect, hatsrus. The great thing about England (one of them) is all these ancient buildings they have. I've visited a couple in Lincoln and other places. Yes, English breakfast is a rare treat and all the more enjoyable for it.
