A web release issued notes that Orlando welcomes more visitors each year than the population of California. This amounts to over 43.3 million folks making their way to Orlando and this makes the place the number one tourist destination. Orlando is also one of the fastest growing communities with a population of 185,000 and a Metro-Orlando population of over 1,500,000. A large chunk of the Orlando economy is invested in tourism which offers a high percentage of the employment in the area. The web release also notes that Orlando is a great environment for leisure activities and for raising a family; offering a wide range of lifestyles - “gated neighborhoods; golf course communities; charming, old-fashioned towns, rural communities and areas with excellent schools, urban communities with historic homes and luxury condominiums all with great views of the city.�

In the last five years Orlando has witnessed great growth, with 19 new and conversion condominiums, which have been completed or announced. Historic homes can be found in the areas of Thorton Park, Lake Eola Heights, Lake Lawsona, Lake Cherokee, and Lake Copeland. The urban downtown areas are trendy with diversity of restaurants, retailers, discos, and bars all within walking distance. The downtown area also boasts close access to beautiful Lake Eola. There are festivals, outdoor concerts, or a gondola rides on the Lake. There is also a sports complex, theater, and opera houses all located centrally making entertainment venues easily accessible.

The web release goes on to say the family living focus has inspired residential development on the edge of downtown called Baldwin Park. This is a traditional neighborhood with architecture reminiscent of the pre-1940's era in Central Florida.
