I think Orlando would be the perfect place to retire. I visited there years ago, and I really enjoyed it. We never made it to the beach, but we had a lot of fun at Disney World and Epcot. We also made our way to Xanadu, and we all thought it was great. My dad really enjoyed the space center nearby.

It's warm, but not too warm (remember, I'm from Oklahoma, and once you mow lawns commercially in 117 degree heat, everything else pales in comparison). Plus, I love that it rains just about every day.

When it's time to diversify our real estate portfolio, I am going to reccomend buying a home in Florida. We can rent it out as an Orlando Vacation Home until it's time to retire, and then we can split our time between our houses depending on the weather.
