Online Tutoring

I homeschooled my son. I could have done a better job, but I could not afford tutoring - not at $50 an hour. I would have loved to have some way to help my son, without spending $400 a week to get him help from a place like Sylvanian.

Math was the subjet he needed the most help with - mainly because I am dyslexic. I would like to help him out now that he is going into grade twelve. If so, I will need to go to an online school. Online tutoring wasn't around when my son was young, so it is something new for me as well as him - but he is very comfortable on the computer, so it may work well.

TutorVista is one of the leading online tutoring websites, and only charge$99.99 a month for all subjects 24/7. That might be the way we go.

I did look at local tutors. One wanted $10 an hour, and when I asked what her education was - she had failed grade 11, twice - I gave up on that idea.
