Available information includes: dosing, pricing, potential drug interactions and Medicare Part D formulary coverage.

The guides are designed by doctors to provide the exact information they are looking for quickly, which allows doctors to spend less time on research and more time with their patients. Time savings of up to 30 minutes a day have been reported.

In addition to the online service, physicians can also continue to use their PDA's to get the information. For those desiring even more in-depth information, Epocrates also offers a premium service with the following amenities: more than 400 alternative medicine monographs, patient education handouts, pill pictures, pill identifier and hundreds of medical tables and calculations.
