Capella University was founded in 1993. It claims to be approved by the Higher learning Commission and to be a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. It provides online learning in such subjects as business, information technology (I.T.), education, human services, and psychology. It also offers degree programs in business and I.T.
