On Transformers, Movie Trends, and Predictions

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, then the Transformers, and now an officemate just told me that G.I. Joe is being turned into a movie. Not to mention X-Men, Spiderman, and Fantastic 4. See the trend here? It seems the movie industry has run out of original ideas and are cashing in on our childhood (or theirs). Not that that's a bad thing. It's always a treat to look back to the past and see how much different it is from today. For a couple of hours, we become innocent children staring with wonder at the TV screen, watching Robots transforming to cars. We can sit back and laugh at how we used to think that it was so cool to have a turtle who was a mutant, a ninja, and a teenager who used expressions like "Dude" and "Cowabanga!" (what teenager in this day and age use those expressions?)

Hm... so, given this trend, what's next o hit the big screen? G. I. Joe, as I mentioned, seems to be on the line-up. Here are my predictions:

-Thunder Cats
-She-Ra: Princess of Power
-Captain Planet and the Planeteers (It seems everyone's going on the green side)
