Old School Video Games

If you are like me then here in the 2000's you still can not get enough of all those great 1980's arcade games. Those were the days when us kids and teenagers would all cram up at the arcades, or the local corner liquor store and slap out quarters up on the top part of the game (which meant that you had next). The popularity of these games are probably impossible for todays youth to realize as they have grown up playing games in their living rooms with their home entertainment systems. Nothing wrong with these of course, they're terrific but my point is they could never imagine the way it was back then. Some of the popular games back then were Galaga, Centipede, Spy Hunter, Elevator Action, Asteroids, Defender, Dig Dug and the king of all video games back then - Pac-Man. There were so many more that I could not name them all but you also had Dig Dug, Galaxia, Punch Out, Kung-Fu Master and the list goes on. It's funny when you think that all those video games back then used to take a whole big video game console to play. When you compare the memory that they used back then on a video game it's amazing that in todays technological world that you can fit hundreds and hundreds of these games on a USB or CD. The memory on those games is nothing compared to what todays video games use. It's funny to think that some of these games are 25 years old, give or take a few years. The main theme of this story? Arcade Video Games Will Live Forever! At least I hope they will. Like old school video games? Visit Videogameemulatorcd.blogspot.com
